Does it match BOTH of those criteria? If so, does any other also match both criteria.

From my point of view, I judge the minimum values to be 13, 13, 13, 12. So D is the only good candidate.

Also, the maximum values are 36, 37, 38, 36. A and D are good candidates, but we already threw out A.

If these two items didn't decide clearly, we could move to the Median. The median is 24 and the four candidates show 27, 27, 25, 24. Again, only D makes the grade.

In this linear fashion, we can rule out fakes.
