Will fan and medal!! 1: I am made of rock, iron, ice, and gas. When I get too close to the sun, the gas leaves a trail of dust and debris behind me. What am I? a comet a meteor an asteroid a moon 2:I am an astronomical body; I have my own gravity, and things orbit around me, but I do not produce energy through fusion. What am I? a star a galaxy a planet an asteroid 3:What are light-years used to measure? time short distances far distances light intensity

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1-comet 2- planet 3- far distances

OpenStudy (trey..):

3 is time

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Kevin is correct for all answers. #3 is far distances. A light year is the DISTANCE that light can travel in one year, a very far distances at that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no light years is not a measure of time, its a measure of far distance

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1: comets 2: a planet 3: light years measure far/long distances NOT time

OpenStudy (mbma526):

Thank you but is it time or far distance?

OpenStudy (mbma526):
