I would go through each answer choice and graph them on a graphing calculator. If you don't have a graphing calculator, you can use a free online one like desmos https://www.desmos.com/calculator/

im going to use geogebra, but how would i enter in the | lines?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

you use the abs function

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

eg: \(\Large |x-3| = \text{abs}(x-3)\)

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

and I just found out that geogebra supports the | along side the abs

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

you can just type in |x-3| and geogebra will understand it just fine

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got answer A is that correct?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

yes it is
