For every 10 white cars a car dealer sells, he sells 7 sliver, 6 blue, 5 red, 4 yellow, 3 green, 2 black, 2 purple cars and 1 brown cars. In 2008, his car yard sold 120 cars. How many blue cars were sold?

OpenStudy (broskishelleh):

Alright, this problem is set up like this: For every 10 white cars sold, there is 30 other cars sold in total. 1/5th of these extra cars are blue. 10 white + 30 other = 40 total. How many times can 40 go into 120? It can go in 3 times This leaves us with 30 white cars sold, and 90 other cars sold. 90/5 = ?
