OpenStudy (gigi1103):

ok here

OpenStudy (nathalyn):

help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

first we find the slope by using the slope formula slope(m) = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1) (-2,-2)....x1 = -2 and y1 = -2 (4,10)...x2 = 4 and y2 = 10 now we sub slope(m) = (10 -(- 2) / (4 - (-2) slope (m) = (10 + 2) / (4 + 2) slope(m) = 12/6 = 2 now use point slope formula y - y1 = m(x - x1) slope(m) = 2 (-2,-2)....x1 = -2 and y1 = -2 now sub y - (-2) = 2(x - (-2) y + 2 = 2(x + 2) or y - y1 = m(x - x1) slope(m) = 2 (4,10)....x1 = 4 and y1 = 10 y - 10 = 2(x - 4) well...its gonna have to be the first one because your slope(m) = 2

OpenStudy (nathalyn):

SO THE ANSWER IS SUPOSED TO BE A OR B THAN RIGHT ????????

OpenStudy (nathalyn):

AND CAN YOU SEE IF THIS IS RIGHT PLEASE !?

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

it can't be B because in B the slope is -2

OpenStudy (nathalyn):

sorry ok then its A okay thanks !!

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

to find x intercept, sub in 0 for y 2x - 4y = 8 2x - 4(0) = 8 2x = 8 x = 4....x intercept of 4 to find y intercept, sub in 0 for x 2x - 4y = 8 2(0) - 4y = 8 -4y = 8 y = -2....y intercept = -2 answer is 2nd one

OpenStudy (nathalyn):

ohh okay okay lol thanks!

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

sure thing :)
