Help.? medal & fan. What was the significance of the agriculture revolution, also known as the Noelithic Revolution?
wide-scale transition of many human cultures from a lifestyle of hunting and gathering to one of agriculture and settlement, allowing the ability to support an increasingly large population
Well, now that bigbosssaint21 explained what the revolution was... It was significant because it marked a time were people could now start cities and build permanent houses. Humans didn't need to move around for food and could finally settle in one place and create villages that would eventually lead to the formation of cities. Basically, the revolution allowed us to focus more on progressing our knowledge than just simply figuring out how to stay alive through the winter.
