8. Write out how you would add: 8 + 4 + 5 + 6 + 2 + 9 + 5

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Any ideas?

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Hint: a +b = b + a

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

also a + ( b + c ) = ( a + b ) + c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well i would do it like (9+5) 2+6+5+4+8

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

why?

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

look for number combinations that add to 10

OpenStudy (dinamix):

we make easy number with easy like 5+5 and 6+4 we have now 20 after that 6+2 =8 and 8 so 6+2+8 = 16 now 20 +16 =36

OpenStudy (anonymous):
