I don't really know for sure but wouldn't it make more sense to -8.3 and the -4.4 together and the other two together so instead of 4 numbers you have two and then do the math for the other two? I've never done these problems before though so I wouldn't know for sure sorry!

do you see how -4.4 changes to 4.4 , for no apparent reason? thats not a valid step

@perl I was thinking that but I had never done that sort of step before I had to search the term up and that step made no sense but I would hate to tell someone something wrong especially when I had to search the term up to begin with
