How would you start an essay about yourself?
For the introduction I have written "I think we all have asked ourselves 'who am I?' atleast once in our lives. This question sure has had me perplexed a few times before"
So how should I continue? I have to write an essay about myself for English.

I think you are off to a great start, but I'd just clean it up a bit!

maybe something along the lines of this:
