Which of the following underlined letters provides an example of consonance?

A. lurk late
B. cool . . . school
C. sin . . . thin gin

I believe the answer would either be B, or C. Any clarification?

Well, according to Google, this is the definition of consonance: the combination of notes that are in harmony with each other due to the relationship between their frequencies. So based on this definition, @JakobRyancx20 , what do you think that the answer would be? :)

Thanks for the reply Xmoses. Earlier throughout the course, they gave me the definition of consonance. They said: Repetition of similar consonant sounds, often in the middle or at the end of the word. I'm pretty sure B and C could both possibly be the answer. OpenStudy didn't underline the letters, so I've attached a picture.

Based on that definition you provided, cool and school both have matching consonance in the MIDDLE of the words.
