I need help with a biology question can anyone help? In which of the following processes are large molecules broken down into smaller molecules? a) vitalism b) anabolism c) dehydration synthesis d) catabolism

OpenStudy (rushwr):

Hey welcome to open study ! What do u think the answer is ?

OpenStudy (rushwr):

Vitalism is an obsolete scientific doctrine that "living organisms are fundamentally different from non-living entities because they contain some non-physical element or are governed by different principles than are inanimate things". So that's out anabolism is the making up of large molecules using small molecules Dehydration is the removal of water molecules Catabolism is correct because it is the process in which the large molecules are broken down in to small molecules.
