What would be the consequence of absence of tRNA in the cytoplasm? The function of tRNA would be taken up by rRNA and protein synthesis would continue. The correct amino acids won't be transferred to the ribosome, and protein synthesis would fail. The function of tRNA would be taken up by mRNA and protein synthesis would mutate.

OpenStudy (rushwr):

What do u think the answer is ?

OpenStudy (rushwr):

mRNA conveys genetic information from DNA to the ribosome. rRNA is the constituent of ribosome. tRNA is there to translate the message given by mRNA to rRNA So if there is no tRNA to translate the message given by mRNA to rRNA the protein synthesis would not occur. So I will go with the second answer.
