Solve for x: 3 − (2x − 5) < −4(x + 2) x < −8 x > −8 x < −3 x > −3

OpenStudy (welshfella):

the rules used to solve these are the same as those for solving equations except that if you divide both sides by a negative you need to flip the inequality sign

OpenStudy (lynfran):

3-(2x-5)<-4(x+2) 3-2x+5<-4x-8 8-2x<-4x-8 8+8-2x<-4x 16<-4x+2x 16<-2x -8>x

OpenStudy (lynfran):

thats the working to ur problem ...any similar problem will follow the same working

*cough show off *cough

no im not.. just letting @babygirlyaz123 see the steps//working ....@rock913335
