Will give medal Last month, Gavin had $5460.40 that he divided into two bank accounts. He deposited 3/8 into a savings account. He deposited the rest into his checking account. How much money did Gavin deposit into his checking account?

???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

multiply 3/8 by 5460.4 to find the amount he deposited into his savings account. then subtract that answer from the total of 5460.4 to find what he has left in the checking account. 3/8 *5460.4 = 2047.65 5460.4 - 2047.65 = 3412.75 --> this is money he has in his checking account.

So it is 3412.75? @kieran01pd2016
