The name of the tallest geologic feature in the world is _____ Hint: In Northern Hemisphere

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nope, not the tallest. I know the answer when I posted this. Just quizzing my earth science fellows.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is actually geography. earth science is more stuff like chemistry and weather related things.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nope I referred to earth science fellow as a study group since this room is called Earth science. Earth science is like geography and only Physical geography. Both deals with the 4 spheres of earth:lithosphere, biosphere, hydrosphere, and atmosphere. This question is more like geology which is like physical geography and earth science. but it deals with the lithosphere more, which is rocks, plate tectonics, volcanoes, mountains, and other structures in the earth. Geography is mixed with social science, history, and science (physical).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hint: tallest does not mean highest

OpenStudy (anonymous):

dude im taking the class right now. there is literally one chapter dealing with rocks and minerals. its mostly talking about water how it all interacts and physics and chemistry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What class? Geography? This is not even a rock question. By the way, in geology class you would learn way more rocks, minerals, and other types of chemical weathering. There is 3 chapters of rocks and 1 chapter on minerals One chapter for igneous, one on sedimentary, one on metamorphic. So how many rocks and minerals have you learned? In geology there is like 20 rocks and 30 rocks you are supposed to know at the intro level Like I said, physical geography deals with the lithosphere also which is rocks, minerals, volcanoes. It does not go in much detail as a physical geology course or textbook.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh my god. you are really one of those people who have to be right about everything arent you? EARTH SCIENCE i took geology and history of the world 4 years ago. the class was about mountain ranges rocks parts of the world ect.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is a physical geography, physical geology, earth science question, since it is broad and does not go in detail.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

By the way, I am an Earth Science major. I took lots of those class.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

k im just gonna say youre right. you dont even need help youre just trying to make yourself look smart when you cant even help me with a basic question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Your question is not even basic, since you do not know how to post link or write your details correctly. You should learn how to post your question in full detail first. This is like the simplest thing to do. Peace I am out. Stop flaming.
