If I'm not mistaken it's 4. Because the Catholic church at the time believed in the Ptolemaic System which stated that the earth was the center of the Solar system, and that all the other planets and sun revolved around the Earth. Galileo supported the Copernican theory which first introduced the concept of the sun being the center of the solar system which we know today to be true. The Catholic church did not like this, because it went against what they taught and took power away from them.
