it started when i was helping someone then he began to repeat what i said and at first i thought it was a glitch but then he started doing it on other questions and now on mine..

There is no point in reporting if moderators don't even check reports...

I reported a spam post 5 days ago... post is still there. The post wasn't even closed.

yea.. the report system is STILL very impractical..
There are three ways to check reports:
1- Though notications
1.1- Only question reports are useful. They redirect to the post and you can see what's going on. When chat messages get reported we don't see the reported message unless we click a link with a chat transcript and scroll all the way down (the reported chat is marked red), and then there's a 50/50 chance we have to use our imagination to find out what's going on. The other 50% is just swearing/inappropriate language.
1.2- When private messages get reported, we can't see them unless we open the moderator dashboard or check the report email (section 2 & 3). Same for testimony reports.
1.3- When refreshing the page, all the notifications are gone, and report notification can't be found in the regular notification list.
2- Through the moderator dashboard.
2.1- A very useless interface where only a few reports of the (I think) 5 latest people who got reported are displayed. So when a few people have been reported, the first one could already be gone from the page.
2.2- The links here are the same as report notification, except here you can actually see the reported chat messages or PMs. Still this page isn't of much worth and most mods don't even know about it's existence, and as far as I know no one uses it.
3- Through report emails, meaning we have to deliberately search for reports on a specific user.
3.1- This is actually the most useful way to view reports, but it's also the most difficult way because it involves targeted searching. Many don't have the time to do all that stuff. We're here mainly to help users with questions too, just like the other helpers, right?

On top of this, about 90% of the reports are BLANK. That means you people DON'T FILL IN THE COMMENT BOX, SO WE DON'T KNOW WHAT THE ISSUE IS >.<

TLDR: We need a more useful way to view reports, this has been suggested many many many times but so far nothing changed. I understand very well why some mods have quit because of not being able to moderate efficiently because the proper tools are not provided, and because users complain about it while we can't help it either.
