medal and fan if you can answer it

OpenStudy (welshfella):

first find the area of the room area = (h/2)(a + b) where h = height of the trapezoid and a and b are lengths of the opposite parallel sides

OpenStudy (welshfella):

the find the area covered by the cylinders and subtract this from the area of the room

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Take 7.5 and divide it by 6 you get 1.25 so 1.25 of the floor is not covered.

OpenStudy (welshfella):

note you must convert the radii of the barrels to feet 6 inches = 0.5 feet
