So a genetic scientist would study?
Genetics, aka DNA. What is DNA? It's what makes us who we are, so therefore a genetic scientist would be a Biologist.
BIOsphere = BIOlogist

A Geologist would belong to the Geosphere group.
GEOlogist = GEOsphere
Geosphere is the Earth, right? Where do soil and rocks come from? The EArth.
Therefore the answer is Geologist.
