what is negative .45 as a fraction ?

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

the first step in converting a decimal to a fraction is to set it over 100. So, at first regarding the negative sign, we would write this as \(\large\frac{45}{100}\)

OpenStudy (trisaba):

\[\frac{ -45 }{ 100 }\]

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

From there, you would simplify. Then, add the negative sign at the end :)

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

@Trisaba don't provide answers. Btw, that can be simplified :)

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

@kyra.faith you following me so far? let me know

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (trisaba):

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

@kyra.faith It doesn't look like you've been on OpenStudy for very long, so I extend to you a very warm welcome \(\ddot\smile\) Don't forget to give a medal to the person who helps you the most. Have a very nice day
