no no mantle is like a covering of some sort over an object

OpenStudy (dan815):

what you have there as the meaning is not the meaning but a function of "EARTH'S MANTLE"

OpenStudy (dan815):

well not really its function but a characteristic or something

OpenStudy (dan815):

for example, people can place their mantle over you, it can mean like their covering, or their coat in some cases

OpenStudy (dan815):

sometimes a mantle can mean things that arent exactly physical too, like during the days of Elijah and Elisha, when Elija's mantle fell over Elisha as Elija ascended into the Heaven.
