Mathematics 23 Online
OpenStudy (zmudz):

If \(z = \frac{ \left\{ \sqrt{3} \right\}^2 - 2 \left\{ \sqrt{2} \right\}^2 }{ \left\{ \sqrt{3} \right\} - 2 \left\{ \sqrt{2} \right\} }\) find \(\lfloor z \rfloor\). The squiggly \({x}\) means the fractional part of the number \(x\). For example, if \(x=3.14\) then \({x}=0.14\). Really stuck on this one, help appreciated and medals given!
