Which of the following is an example of active reading? A. Skimming over information and taking notes. B. Reviewing a chapter, question as you read, and review notes. C. Speed reading and taking notes in your own words. D. Both B & C.

To quote Open University, "Active reading simply means reading something with a determination to understand and evaluate it for its relevance to your needs. Simply reading and re-reading the material isn't an effective way to understand and learn. Actively and critically engaging with the content can save you time." I would say it could possibly be both B & C, but I'm not 100% sure :(

D. B & C Because, the difference between speed reading and skimming is this- speed reading is reading, but doing it quickly whereas skimming is like glancing over it...which isnt really reading at all. And then taking notes and reviewing is being active in reading your assignment! ^.^
