MEDAL AND FAN WILL BE GIVEN!! :D Below is a data set consisting of 33 whole number observations. Its five-number summary is: (16, 20, 22, 30, 46). Is it possible that there is no observation equal to 22? Explain briefly.

@Hero @dan815 @pooja195 Please help!!

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

five number summary is (min, Q1, median, Q2, max) so, looking at the 5-number summary you have, we can see that the median is 22 we have an odd number of observations (33) so the 22 MUST be an entry in order for the median to be 22

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

so, your data will look something like this (16 entries below), 22, (16 entries above 22)

Wait so Is it possible that there is no observation equal to 22? @Vocaloid

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

read what I said carefully

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So no? @Vocaloid

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

correct

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

22 must be in the data
