Think of factors of 6
OpenStudy (anonymous):
3 2 1 ?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
and 6
pooja195 (pooja195):
3 x 2 = 6 right?
so what can we do so that it would equal -6?

or 3* -2
pooja195 (pooja195):
Right but which one can multiply to make -6 AND can add/subtract to make 1?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I still don't get it
OpenStudy (anonymous):
is it just 1?
pooja195 (pooja195):
ok
3 *2 = 6 right? but 3+2 make 5 not 1
-3 * 2 = -6 right? -3+2 make -1 not 1
that leaves us with 3*-2
