Marcus spent 10 hours doing his homework last week. This week he spent 11 hours doing homework. He says that he spent 110% more time doing homework this week. Is he correct? Show your work to justify your decision.

I do not believe you can spend 110% more on something, that would mean he spent all of his time doing his homework this week and did no homework last week.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is he correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so whats the complete answer and show the work please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Marcus did is not correct, because he would spend 90% of his time doing homework this week compared to last week. 110% is incorrect.

OpenStudy (anonymous):
