Look at the figure: An image of a right triangle is shown with an angle labeled x. If tan x° = 11 divided by r and cos x° = r divided by s, what is the value of sin x°? sin x° = s divided by 11 sin x° = 11 divided by s sin x° = 11r sin x° = 11s

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

so knowing the about tan(x): 11 is the opposite side and r is the adjacent side cos(x) r is the adjacent side and s is the hypotenuse so that means sin(x) = 11/s opposite/hypotenuse

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait thats it ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wow this is easier than i thought

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

that's it you need to know tan = opposite/adjacent, cos = adjacent/hypotenuse and sin = opposite/hypotenuse

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks :)

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

so by knowing the ratio basics you can label the sides

OpenStudy (dinamix):

sinx = 11 divided by s this the answer cuz sinx = 11 /s
