OpenStudy (anonymous):

2 hrs 17 mins = 137 minutes but how many seconds? Multiply 137 by 60? 137 x 60 = 8220

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes @TerribleTinyKid34

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank ya! :-)

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

nicely done @Pikachubacca

OpenStudy (anonymous):

40% of which number is 80?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Good answer @texaschic101, @Pikachubacca, @Darkwolfy12! Good job

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Multiply 80 by 40%. What is your answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to find the percent of a number multiply the number yo want a percent of by the decimal of the percent ie. 40% of 60 is 60 * 0.4 or 0.40

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Pikachubacca it's MY turn to show off.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3200

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and your answer is the percent taken off so in your case you have the answer "80" and you need to find what number was 40% taken off of to find 80

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Pikachubacca HEY! I said it's MY turn to SHOW OFF!

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

math language.. of means multiply and is means equals 40% of what number = 80.....let " what number " = a 40% * a = 80 --- turn your percent to a decimal 0.40a = 80 -- now divide by 0.40 a = 80/0.40 a = 200

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im just helping -. -

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Pikachubacca I really dont care if you're trying to help, it's MY turn to SHOW OFF!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry for shouting too @Pikachubacca

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

oops...sorry....your turn

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (texaschic101):
