OpenStudy (mikeymaximum):

Because the number in the tenths place is less than 5

OpenStudy (mikeymaximum):

Do you understand?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

He's right^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

as just trying to explain cx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol wow....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what grade are you in?

OpenStudy (mikeymaximum):

when you are looking for the whole number then you always look at the tenths place If the number in the tenths place is less than 4 then you take out all of the numbers behind the decimal But if the number is 5 or greater then you still take out all of the numbers behind the decimal but you also have to add 1 to the ones place. Is that helpful?
