Find the point- slope form of the equation of the line.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

33) (-2,5) and (3,5)

OpenStudy (misty1212):

HI!!

OpenStudy (misty1212):

is it \((-25,)\) and \((3,5)\)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I already found the slope. I'm not quite sure where to go from there.

OpenStudy (misty1212):

oops \((-2,5)\) and \((3,5)\) aer those the two points?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes!

OpenStudy (misty1212):

the y values are both the same right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yup!

OpenStudy (misty1212):

they are both 5 that means the equation is \(y=5\) a horizontal line

OpenStudy (misty1212):

it does not look like \(y=mx+b\) because \(m=0\) so it is just \(y=b\) or in this case \(y=5\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh...oh my gosh. Thank you. I didn't think of it that way.
