What will happen to a human if the sodium level in the body reduces?
Na+ ions are present in plenty outside the cell membrane and have a crucial role in nerve impulse conduction (Na+/K+ pump) . You can imagine what will happen if amount of sodium ions decrease? It will disturb the normal functioning of nerve impulse transfer and hence can cause Neurological disorders. Also sudden loss of electrolytes like sodium ion can also disturb the osmotic balance inside the cells of body which can lead to whole range of symptoms like headache, nausea etc. the symptoms can be severe in chronic cases. The condition of chronic low sodium concentration is often termed as \(\bf Hyponatremia\). It's basically a glorified medical term. I hope that helps c:

thank you @Abhisar. One meadal and fan for you!!!!!!!
how can we identify whether the sodium level has decreased? What are the precautions to this?
Thanks and Welcome c: Low sodium level can be identified y performing a `Serum sodium test`. This test looks for sodium levels in your blood. Normal results for this test are 135 to 145mEq/L( milli equivalents per liter). Prevention: Drink adequate amount of water especially if lots of them have been lost as sweat after physical stress.
