I need help on this... I have to write 3 real world problems using positive and negative integers. I already created 2 starting out with positive numbers, and I can't really think of one to make that starts out with a negative number. I mean, how can you start out with less than what you already have...? Help!

If someone owes money, that's usually a negative number. "Mike owes $20 and paid back..." Or if something is underground/below sea level. "An oil platform's foundation is 1000 ft below sea level..."
