1. is correct 2. is also correct, although be careful when you're writing that in 1 line. You wrote \(6/x+y\) which means \(\frac{ 6 }{ x }+y\). I think you meant \(\frac{ 6 }{ x+y }\), which you have to write with parentheses as \(6/(x+y)\). 3. quotient indicates division, so that should be y/6.
