Which function below has the smallest slope?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha flvs

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok so the first one f(x) do you know how to find the slope from this form? f(x) = mx + b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for the second one, pick two points on the graph. slope = rise (amount you go up)/run (amount you go to the left or right)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and for the last one pick two of the points given and use the slope formula: y2 - y1/x2 - x1 = slope PLEASE let me know if this helped

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the first one would be 2/1, the second one would be 5/2.5, and the third would be 2/1?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, perfect, Great job

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im confused which one has the smallest slope since one and three are the same

geerky42 (geerky42):

So is #2, because 5/2.5 = 2. So all slopes are same, right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh that's right! thank you both
