Kaitlin is on her way home in her car. She has driven 36 miles so far, which is three-fourths of the way home. What is the total length of her drive?

OpenStudy (unofficialllyy):

@robtobey How would I set this problem up to solve?

OpenStudy (unofficialllyy):

I think I got it. Is it 48 miles?

OpenStudy (unofficialllyy):

I converted 3/4 into a decimal then I did 0.75x=36 to get 48
