You can use the following formulas:

$\sf|\vec{A}+\vec{B}|=\sqrt{A^2+B^2+2AB.Cos(\theta)}\ |\vec{A}-\vec{B}|=\sqrt{A^2+B^2-2AB.Cos(\theta)}$

Note: $\sf \theta$ is the angle between two vectors when tails of both the vectors are joined together. See the illustration below.
