@breaking_benjamin123 If you have a number such as \(4^8\times4^3\), the only right way to write it is 4^8*4^3 unless you write it out completely using LaTeX. The ^ sign means the following number is written small and higher up (an exponent). The way you wrote it, 48 × 43, will be simply 2064, not quite the answer you want.
