^thats clearly a school link XD

imqwerty (imqwerty):

LOL XD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah it is XD

OpenStudy (faolan):

yes it is. I wouldnt be doing this myself...

OpenStudy (faolan):

-2/7?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First find slope, y2-y1/x2-x1

OpenStudy (faolan):

-2/7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, your correct, now find y-intercept :D

OpenStudy (faolan):

-3=-2/7(x - 3)

OpenStudy (faolan):

whats that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the formula you need to use is: y-ya = yb-ya/xb-xa(x-xa)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Xa= -4, Ya = -1, Xb = 3, and Yb = -3

OpenStudy (faolan):

so.... y-(-1) = -3-(-1)/3-(-4) (x-(-4)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then...... y + 1 = -2/7 (x + 4)

OpenStudy (faolan):

so two equations?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, watch me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y=mx + b is what format your answer has to be in so...... :D you have so far is your slope, your going to multiply -2/7 with 4 and you get 8
