I need help with Polygons and their angles, ill fail if i dont get it done ;~; please help me (:

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

ok... so for the 1st question let x be the smallest angle then the other 3 angles are x + 10, x + 20 and x + 30 and knowing the angles in a quadrilateral add to 360 you have an equation x + x + 10 + x + 20 + x + 30 = 360 so 4x + 60 = 360 just solve for x.

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

for the 2nd question just count the sides that make the perimeter of the composite shape don't count the common side

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im so lost

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Would it be 75? @campbell_st

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well the smallest angle is 75... so if each other angle inceases by 10 degrees, what are the other 3..?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

20 30 40?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So would the answer be 165? @campbell_st

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

4x + 60 = 360 - 60 -60 4x = 300 /4 /4 x = ?

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

I think that's how you do it el xD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats still 75

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i need to know what to do next

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

I dunno I just solved @campbell_st 's equatio

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i still dont get it i need someone to actually explain it :/

OpenStudy (excalibur0126):

It would be 75, 85, 95, and 105. Those numbers added up would be 360.
