HELP PLEASE!! Tia used a photocopier to dilate the design for a monorail track system. The figure below shows the design and its photocopy: The ratio of DA:HE is 2:3. What is the length, in meters, of side FG on the photocopied image?

|dw:1441410503122:dw| By proportion: FG/BC=EH/AD FG/14 = 3x/2x Solve for FG (in metres) Note: I have never seen a photocopier this big!

Do i multiply both sides?

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

the ratio for "all" sides is the same 2:3, and that's also true for BC to FG

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

\(\bf\cfrac{14}{FG}=\cfrac{2}{3}\impliedby \textit{solve for "FG"}\)

i got 21

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

yeap
