Let f(x) = 2x^2+x-3 and g(x) = x-1. Perform the indicated operation, then find the domain. (f*g)(x)? is it 2x^3 + x^2 +4x -3: domain: positive real numbers?

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

i see where you are coming from but first: \(\large (2x^2+x-3 )(x-1) = 2 x^3-x^2-4 x+3\) and second, are you sure this is not a composition ie \[\large (f \circ g)(x)\] which is another way of saying \(\large f(g(x))\)
