Write an equation of the line that passes through (5,-2) and is parallel to the line 2x - 3y = 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the equation should be 2x-3y=c and then you have to find the constant c , substitute by x=5 and y=-2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The new equation would be 10+6=c then? How would I find the constant?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you actually found it :D
