well, lydia's work rate is (1job/2hr) and jackia's work rate is (1job/1hr) so if they working together \[\frac{ 1job }{ 2hr }+\frac{ 1job }{ 1hr }=\frac{ 1job }{ x }\] where x is the time that they will take when working together
