By default, your numerical entry is scored as correct if it is within 1% of the correct answer. A rule of thumb is always to enter at least 3 digits for numerical questions. If the correct answer is 7.31109, which of the following entries would be counted as correct? That is, which entries are within WebAssign's default tolerance? (Select all that apply.) 7.2 7.3769 7.31 7.1576 7.46 7.245
i just dont understand what does it mean to have an answer within 1% of the correct answer
I put 7.31 and 7.245 and it marked it wrong
You multiply the answer by 0.01 since 0.01=1% So 7.31109*0.01=0.0731109 The choices should be between or at (7.31109-0.0731109)<7.31109<(7.31109+0.0731109) Oh and the rule of thumb is always to enter at least 3 digits for numerical questions, so 7.2 is not an entry question, even if it falls in the range.
so between 7.2379791 and 7.3842009
7.3769 7.31 7.245 Would be answers then

The choices should be at (7.31109-0.0731109)<x<(7.31109+0.0731109)* Sorry for the typo.
