Charge in electric field question

OpenStudy (osanseviero):

I throw a charge with initial velocity to an electric field. I need to calculate the distance it travels. We know the following info: * Initial velocity * Charge * Voltage and distance between the two fields (we then know the electric field) * The charge and its mass

apply the basic equations of motion such as \(x = ut + \frac{1}{2}at^2\) the tweak, usually, is that for Newton's Second, \(F = ma\), the F in the vertical direction might be a combination of gravity and the electric interaction so \(F = \pm Eq \pm mg = ma\) depends on your actual set up:p
