calculate the volume in milliliters of a 4.75 g sample of a solid with a density of 3.11 g/ml For my answer I got 1527.3, can someone verify that

OpenStudy (rushwr):

nop it's 1.52733 I think u have converted lyk. Actually u don't have to convert it because the density is given in grams per milliliter. So if see the units side since V= mass divided by density ! \[units of V = \frac{ g }{ gml ^{-1} }\] So u get the volume in milliliters .
