D is incorrect, I believe that the transcontinental railroad was completed in 1869, Lincoln was assassinated in 1865. This one is just mixing things up too much. B the railroad would have definitely open up new avenues for immigration as to what places they could satay, because it made traveling easier. that was the whole point making trade/commerce between both east and west coast easier. C Tomas durant was vice president of Union pacific railroad. (he was involved in a scandal so i would say this is true. not too sure. A. I think this is true, they did kill a lot of buffalo and those were animals were a major food source for the native americans.
