looks like that is the graph for y = x^2 + 1

if you have a quadratic function, you can factor it into (ax + b)(cx+d) both those are linear factors

OpenStudy (danjs):

some are squares and can look like (ax +b)^2 so only one linear factor

OpenStudy (danjs):

this one can't factor unless you use imaginary numbers, so zero
