If a resting adult needs about 240mL of pure oxygen per minute and breathes 12 times per minute. If inhaled air contains 20% O2 by volume and exhaled air about 16%, what is the volume of air per breath? (Assume the volume of air inhaled is equal to the volume of air exhaled). So i figured out the percentages to mL...20% (inhaled) = 48mL O2 and 16% (exhaled) = 38.4mL O2...what do i do next?
