Would this be like the first question we did?
OpenStudy (phi):
what is the formula for the volume of a prism?
OpenStudy (kailee1423):
b*h Is the b in this one area of the base?
OpenStudy (phi):
yes, volume is length*width*height
we can say length*width is the area of the base, and write B*height
(personally I don't like to use single letters for area... too easy to confuse it with a length)

Ok. How do you know when B is area of the base and when it means length of the base?
OpenStudy (phi):
I just learned Volume is area of the base times height
(say it 100 times, and I am sure you will remember it for a long time)
OpenStudy (kailee1423):
Ok. So the volume for this one would be 308.88?
OpenStudy (kailee1423):
I mean 308.9
OpenStudy (phi):
yes, 308.88 rounded to the nearest 10th is 308.9
